CO2 DAC

CO2 Direct Air Capture

Business processes

Direct air capture is one of few technology options available to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Carbon removal is expected to play a key role in the transition to a net-zero energy system in which the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere is equivalent to the amount being removed. Because certain sectors such as aviation and heavy industry are difficult to decarbonise, carbon removal technologies can offset these emissions and support a faster transition.

Some benefits of direct air capture as a carbon removal option include its limited land and water footprint and the possibility of locating plants close to suitable storage or utilization sites, eliminating the need for long-distance CO2 transport.

DSE partners with GreenCap with options for  exclusivity and has finalized the prototype phase, ready for production.

BASED ON GREENCAP TECHNOLOGY, DSE OFFERS A HIGHLY EFFICIENT, LEADING EDGE SOLUTION

With 0% use of fossil fuel or chemicals and less than 1 kW⋅h/kg CO2 the DSE / GreenCap DAC System is the most sustainable and efficient technology to capture CO2 in the market.

Our DAC technology is based on the adsorption concept, where air is sucked in, and the CO2 is removed with the help of optimized zeolites. DSE / GreenCap DAC technology significantly increases efficiency and thus significantly reduces operational costs compared to other DAC technologies.

Our process uses a commercial adsorbent that has excellent properties due to its large surface area and a variety of pore sizes without the use of chemicals.

Our system is the most sustainable, proven and efficient technology in the market today.

Presentation of the industrial master module takes place on 15th December in Norway
